If you’ve read the news this last week, you’ll have seen that sporty people tend to drink more after exercise. It’s sociable to pop down to the pub and share a pint or two, you’ve earnt it!

However, athletes who swapped their alcoholic drink for an alcohol free beer both before and after their sporting events ( runners and cyclists) put less stress on their hearts and suffered less respiratory infections than those who drank normal beer or other drinks!

So what better reason to swap to a non-alcoholic beer or to suitably lower sugar soft drinks in #dryvember? You’ll be supporting a great cause too, helping kids stay safe around alcohol through the work of The Alcohol Education Trust.
