Up to London for some very interesting meetings on staff training and retail engagement possibilities in Scotland, as well as a planning meeting for a conference on best practice in alcohol education in Brussels next year.

Kathryn held a talkaboutalcohol session for foster carers today – Stuart who organised it gave her a glowing reference  ‘Whilst many attending may have some awareness around the safe use of alcohol, your emphasis on how we are open and honest with our young people about alcohol use was incredibly helpful. You were able to give practical, realistic tips on approaching this very sensitive area of discussion with young people and emphasising the need to talk could not have been any clearer’.

Sandra held a session for parents at Hightunstall College of Science who held a successful session last year too.
