DRYVEMBER: HAVE A GO AT SAYING NO!

COUNTDOWN TO DRYVEMBER!

Sunday 16th November

A  lovely morning spent at the Macmillan Christmas Fair and managed to tick several presents of the Christmas list, I’ve made a start at last! Macmillan nurses are wonderful down here and have looked after several family members.

MORE rugby – worth it for the tea this time.. This evening? We didn’t worry about supper after Sunday lunch AND tea and cakes ( watch that waistline I hear you say!) but as our daughter isn’t well, I made a really warming hot lemon, honey and cinnamon drink – if you’ve read Eleanor’s blog, it should just be organic lemon and water.. but a little honey and spice made it less tart. We snuggled up on the sofa and I was made to watch I’m a celebrity – I’m terrified of heights so really felt for those poor contestants!

I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of here

I’ve just realised we’re over half way through the month, hurray! I’m genuinely surprised how easy I’m finding dryvember now and will really make my own choices more from now on and not feel pressured to ‘have a drink’ so much from the 1st December!
