Friday 21st November – Sunday 23rd November

A catch up day today on Friday in the office before heading off to lovely St Enedocs in Cornwall with friends for the weekend, every November between 14 and 20 of us rent the same house together, enjoying long walks, big fry ups, card games and we all cook a meal each.

We walked to Rock to catch the ferry to Padstow for a spot of Christmas shopping, the brave went for  pre breakfast cycle and others spent a great afternoon surfing at Constantine bay and there was bargain hunting in vintage shops in Lostwithiel. We were celebrating a BIG Birthday for our friend Phil – so it was quite hard to stick to dryvember. Hugh had already given up earlier in the month – but Pat and I managed just fine! We did get lots of ribbing from the others, however our halos are still intact! Our survival drinks of the weekend? Ginger beer, alcohol free wine, lemon and ginger cordial and endless cups of tea!
